I’m so excited about how the Project Prom Angel Prom Salon is coming together. I can’t wait until I have a date and a location to share with you all. I have told you before that my mailman hates me. Well, he never said that but all I can tell is you the amount of boxes we’ve gotten from shoe brands donating product for our teens is AMAZING and I can only imagine that they are no joy to lug to my front door. As you can see above, there are TONS of boxes and they’re still coming–thankfully. My garage looks like a department store stock room though. I’m not complaining,

Again I just want to be more than a blogger and help other people benefit from my fashion and my business connections. I had another blogger share with me a couple of weeks ago, or rather thank me for the idea of Project Prom Angel. She now wants to start something similar and I welcome that. It’s not like I own the idea. Besides I know that there are so many girls out there who would never be able to attend their prom if someone didn’t step in to help.

I love ideas and helping people, however, we are still in desperate need of dresses. If you have even one bridesmaid dress, evening dress or gown that is in VERY GOOD condition, please email me. We’d love it if you made a donation. The shoe giveaways are for YOU (my readers) but Project Prom Angel is for the teen girls who have no other way to be able to afford to go to prom. I wanted to create a category here on the blog to keep it more personal. It’s more like giving insight about all that’s going on with me. I know the website has become one big giveaway center and I really want to get away from that, or at least give more depth to what’s happen in my kingdom, so that it’s not just giveaways but I can actually connect with some of you. After all some of you have been following me and my rantings since 2004!

If you’re following me on Twitter you know that I’ve been talking about going next level. I don’t like feeling stagnant or like I’m not moving in any direction with what I’m doing in fashion. My goal has always been to be known for more than just having a blog or being a blogger. Yes, I’ve written for PYNK Magazine and I’m still writing for Shecky’s but I want to do more than that, maybe branch out and do some styling segments, so, that in addition to giving fabulous shoe giveaways I’m known for style and having a great eye for trends. I just wrote a shoe article that I want to pitch to a bridal magazine. I’ve finished the article and am editing it and polishing it up, so that I don’t get a form rejection letter. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers with that! More to come.
