I am a Jypsea junkie. There, I said it! So, as you can imagine this isn’t my first trip to the rodeo with Jypsea Leathergoods. I love her work. It’s always so stylish, unique and durable and the Travel Case that I’m reviewing is no different. When I first got it in the mail I was ripping open the package like it was my birthday. What I fell in love with most was the color that looks like a muted teal and grey mix. The texture of the teal leather feels almost like crocodile or snakeskin, just smoother, and the durable zipper let me know that I’ll have this product for a very long time–which is why I don’t mind investing in quality products.

When I purchase a Jypsea Leathergoods products I can always expect amazing craftsmanship and a unique mix of color choices–this piece was no different. The leather tassle that’s attached to the zipper was a cool touch and the funky colorful print pattern for the lining was an amazing choice. I know it’s a Travel Case, but for some reason, I want to carry it everywhere and be seen just so that people can ask, “Where did you get that?” And although I’m ready to stuff it full of lip stick, false lashes, eyeliner and other cosmetics, I almost want to use it as a pouchette to dash to and from appointments and even to run out front and check the mail. That’s how you know you have a stellar product, when you don’t want to leave home without it.

P.S. I just ordered a leather and lace corset belt and next up will probably be some GLAM leather pillows. Check out the website. I know you’ll find something on there that you absolute love. She also makes custom products too. The pieces are simply fabulous!

When we featured Artist Lauren Luna on our website back in May, 2011 I knew she was something special. There are those you know who are destined to making their mark on the world and instantly I could tell that the assessment that I made fit her to a tee. I got a pair of her Lauren Luna brand manufactured heels in the mail over a month ago and I fell totally in deep adoration. I love shoes, however, not all shoes meet the criteria to be included in my collection. There are those you wear and end up in the corner and those that get prime positioning on your coveted shoe shelf. These definitely fit the “prime positioning” bill. The Lauren Luna Elizabeth Peep Toe Pumps are made of quality leather, the peep-toe is ample enough to show off your fresh pedicure and the heel a manageable 5 inches high–meaning they are high enough to accentuate your legs and style without being so ridiculously high that you almost break your neck trying to walk in them.

I love to see brands grow and blossom so I’m thrilled at everything Lauren Luna Ltd. is doing. Having worn them, I can tell you firsthand that these are the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn in awhile. There was no toe pinching, no heel slipping, nothing to detract from their overall beauty. A lot of shoes I find pinch here, or are a little tight there, but these are all around comfy. Considering the last thing I think of when glamming up is adding crystal Swarovski jewels to my lady area, I was a bit hesitant to give completely bare’s VAJEWEL kit a try. After carefully reading the directions I attempted to proceed with the application which would seem simple enough; peel and stick. Unfortunately it was not so simple. Although I slowly peeled the crystals from the backing as directed many of them did not unstick from the white backing. I tried it a couple of times attempting to apply the design intact but was unsuccessful. Whatever did apply lasted over night without any fall out. The removal was fairly easy, except the crystals will stick to other parts of your body.

I love the concept of a heel condom and think that it is so innovative. I really have wanted to buy one of these for the longest because they give an old shoe a new look. It is almost like a face lift for your shoe, a quick makeover that will turn any shoe in to an entirely different one. You don’t have to spend a lot or do a long extensive DIY. With all the combinations of your shoes and Heel Condoms the possibilities are endless. They are super simple to use I tried the Blue chiffon with lace heel condoms on my plain black pumps; slide them right on, tied it in a bow and was good to go.
