I tell you the truth Christian Louboutin is going to have me renting out my other shoes just to be able to afford them. Seriously. Of course I wish they were available in a more basic color like brown (because I need a fabu pair of brown shoes) or even something more exotic like fuschia, because, well, then I’d have to find something to pair with it. Sometimes I think I drive myself crazy on purpose. I saw these shoes and now I want them so badly that I’m willing to sell peeled oranges in baggies at traffic intersections. In my mind I’m justifying where I’d wear them, but owning them is 90% of the pleasure when it comes to shoes. They are so feminine and that’s my signature style when it comes to fashion. I want to look and feel like a woman in my clothes.

If I had the $2,875.00 to plunk down on these babies, as much as I would love to own them, I’d have to bite down hard and pass. That’s a lot for a pair of shoes. But they make me swoon, so, don’t think for a second believe that by passing I’m saying that they’re less than stellar. What would I wear them with if someone gave them to me for free? Shoot! I wouldn’t try to get all diva with them. I might break out a pair of well-worn jeans and cuff them up below the calf and pull out a black sleeveless leather top that laces up in the back and slide a pair of black Gucci frames on top of my head. With shoes like these naturally people expect you to doll them up, but they are the icing darling, you don’t add more icing to an already impeccable dessert.

It hurts to share things I love and don’t own. Although I hardly ever buy suede I might have bitten the bullet for these. At any rate, I don’t even want to talk about it. I feel like someone stole my bike and made me walk home in the rain.

Maybe I have a gladiator fetish. If it has buckles, straps and a rustic looking leather I’m smitten with it and knocking down people to hand over my debit card. This was on my Amazon Wish List until they sold out in size 8, but seriously I wanted these, then I decided against them because they are similar to several other pairs of shoes I already own. There aren’t that many shoes that I’m smitten with. This may be pair number 3. I don’t know I think that for me, it’s not just about collecting shoes but rather awesome shoes fitting nicely into my existing wardrobe. What fun are shoes if you never get to wear them. Price-wise they are the most affordable on my Gimme This! List. The bronze leather doesn’t help. Somebody fan the Princess. She’s having a moment.
