I love cats. I love wedges, but these? I’m not sure. They look like Charlotte Olympia. I can’t do it though.

I don’t think my husband would take me seriously in Hello Kitty Heels. I probably wouldn’t take me seriously in them, but they are fun to look at.

This looks like it was trying to be a very good idea but it went wrong somehow. Love the tiny disco ball.

I don’t knock what anybody is trying to do but I do like to share my thoughts and comments and there is nothing wrong with that. It’s my opinion and I’m entitled to that. I don’t like the shoes. I think the shoes look like they’ve been done–over and over again. I’ve seen some Chinese Laundry shoes that look wayyyyyyy better than the ones she put her name behind. Fact is that when you bring someone on board to launch a sub-line it’s normally because they have style that will draw people to your brand. Some of her shoes (like the Kooper) look like shoes older ladies who have trouble with heels or wearing anything too high would wear. I don’t think they brought Shaunie on board for that. They brought her on board because she was traipsing around Rome with Evelyn and Jennifer with Louboutins and other pricey heels and people probably expected them to translate that to the Chinese Laundry brand (at least I did). And the retracted and embellished platforms of the Hot Island are soooooo done to death “you” can cover my mouth because “I’m” yawning. I enjoy the entertainment provided by the Basketball Wives franchise and they get paid to do exactly what they do–get us to watch, but I think they need to put more thought into trying to tie-in products because this shoe line failed. While she may be able to actually cash a check you have to think long term and actually build a brand that people will want to purchase, come back again and again for and tell their friend about. Word of mouth just hasn’t been that great about this venture. Is it me or are all the REALLY HOT SHOES JUST SOLD OUT AND I’M NOT SEEING THEM?

A sex doll hoodie? I guess some people aren’t above taking their passion to the next level. This landed in my inbox with a link to the Phoenix New Times. It’s simply the craziest thing I’ve ever seen attached to the word fashion–ever! I mean, even if you’re desperate enough to buy a blow up doll, after you “use” it then it gets recycled into a hoodie? Why? This is the creation of Dutch artist Sander Reijgers. His goal? Not to be thought of in a positive light obviously, but instead he says, “to remove the sexual function of the dolls by turning them into a jacket or a bag.” Eww! I think you have to be a little off mentally to wear this, but another thought is that they could have seriously just left this wannabe trend in a landfill somewhere. What are your thoughts? Would you wear it? Buy it for someone as a gag gift? Humor me!

True Queen blogged about this new trend and everyone has been all in a stir about it. Now my question to you is, would you wear socks with your stilettos? For me it depends on the shoe and the fabric of the socks. What say you? Is this a fashion catastrophe or flawless fashion?

I love 5 Gum. It has lasting flavor and leaves my breath fresh. However, I wouldn’t dream of chewing the gum and making a dress out of the wrappers!?!? But then again I’m not an Iowa teen *lol*

“An Iowa teen is all bubbly over her one-of-a-kind high school prom dress she made out of gum wrappers. Elizabeth Rasmuson made her dress — and matching vest for her date — out of blue and white wrappers from Wrigley’s “5 gum.”

The high school junior says she got the idea after hearing about someone making a dress out of duct tape. She and her boyfriend began collecting gum wrappers last August. Rasmuson says she quit counting after 200.

Since the wrappers break easily, Rasmuson finished her dress with a vinyl topcoat.
