TMZ seems to know everything. The TMZ report said:

4:28 PM: Law enforcement tell TMZ … Heavy D had just returned from shopping and walked up

I can say that I was definitely a fan of the music and enjoyed watching him make the transition fro rapper to actor quite fluidly. People loved his cameo in Tower Heist! He will be missed. I don’t follow many celebrities on Twitter but here was @HeavyD ’s last 3 tweets. One ironically was commenting on the passing of Joe Frazier.

The Roberto Cavalli dress that Miley Cyrus wore to the VMA’s was adorable. I would have loved to see what shoes she was wearing. At times like these I’d like to guess what someone might have been wearing when I can’t actually see. What shoes would you pair with this dress?

I don’t knock what anybody is trying to do but I do like to share my thoughts and comments and there is nothing wrong with that. It’s my opinion and I’m entitled to that. I don’t like the shoes. I think the shoes look like they’ve been done–over and over again. I’ve seen some Chinese Laundry shoes that look wayyyyyyy better than the ones she put her name behind. Fact is that when you bring someone on board to launch a sub-line it’s normally because they have style that will draw people to your brand. Some of her shoes (like the Kooper) look like shoes older ladies who have trouble with heels or wearing anything too high would wear. I don’t think they brought Shaunie on board for that. They brought her on board because she was traipsing around Rome with Evelyn and Jennifer with Louboutins and other pricey heels and people probably expected them to translate that to the Chinese Laundry brand (at least I did). And the retracted and embellished platforms of the Hot Island are soooooo done to death “you” can cover my mouth because “I’m” yawning. I enjoy the entertainment provided by the Basketball Wives franchise and they get paid to do exactly what they do–get us to watch, but I think they need to put more thought into trying to tie-in products because this shoe line failed. While she may be able to actually cash a check you have to think long term and actually build a brand that people will want to purchase, come back again and again for and tell their friend about. Word of mouth just hasn’t been that great about this venture. Is it me or are all the REALLY HOT SHOES JUST SOLD OUT AND I’M NOT SEEING THEM?

You know Malika as one of the twins that make up Khloe Kardashian’s best friend duo. I’m not sure what she or they did before the show but here she is at a charity event. I must say honestly that I was a little disappointed in her for hooking up with Rob on the show. That is a no-no. I don’t care how far it’s been between boyfriends–your best friend’s brother is off limits. She’s always been a pretty girl to me and she knows that Rob isn’t serious about anything (even a job) so why she even thinks that he needs her precious time is beyond me. I would like to see her start her own brand or something, maybe make up, jewelry–I don’t know. I’d love to feature it on the site or interview her. I don’t want a cameo on her best friend’s tv show to be her only claim to fame.

I love Fergie. She’s so stylish. She’s totally rocking these Ruthie Davis Spikette peep-toe pumps.

I would just love it if Ruthie’s shoes were more widely available. I know exclusivity adds to the lure of it but I just don’t like it. I hate when only two stores have a shoe and then when they sell out you can’t get it and then you have to wait until the next season and then lust after another two or three shoes and then repeat the cycle again. That’s my vent. Carry on.
