Arbonne Make-Up Primer Base and Sheer Glow Highlighter

I received Arbonne Make-Up Primer Base to review. I don’t wear much make-up at all unless I’m doing a photo shoot, but I did notice a few things that I must mention. Liquid. Creamy. Smooth. I love it because it’s liquid, creamy and smooth to apply. I have been totally turned off by powder make-up foundations in the past (including high end department store brands), so for me this was a welcome change. For me easy application and a smooth texture are extremely important when it comes to make-up brands. Those points are the criteria I use to determine whether or not I will continue using a make up product. The company’s products are formulated in Switzerland and manufactured and produced in the USA. The products are all vegan and gluten free. I had never heard of Arbonne Cosmetics prior to trying this product, however I love when a product meshes well into my basic beauty regimen and I continue using and buying it. The primer is supposed to be used specifically after you apply your daily moisturizer, which is perfect for me because I maintain my skin by using a daily moisturizer. The literature says that it visually diminishes fine lines and pores creating a canvas for flawless make up application.

The Arbonne Sheer Glow Hightlighter that is sort of like a bronzer was equally as build and creamy and very rich feeling. The Arbonne Make-Up Primer retails for just $36.00 and the Arbonne Sheer Glow Highlighter retails for $40.00. Add them both to your arsenal.

WE RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

Harvey Prince Fragrances Are Right Up My Alley

harveyprince

Although I’m not a perfume type girl per se, I love a fresh clean scent. I know that there are many out there, but when I stumbled upon Harvey Prince I was enthralled by the story of how the brand started. It seems it was started by two brothers as a gift for their mother. How cute is that? I love their business model too, they wanted boutique quality and the scent, they didn’t want anything overwhelming and that for me is a huge draw because I really don’t like overwhelming perfumey fragrances. I love light, airy, citrusy and other natural notes that blend well with any skin chemestry.

Their brand has lots of original scents and the names are so delicious and alluring that it’ll make you want to purchase them all. I have a few favorites though. Hello is a scent that would probably be my favorite because it has lemon, mandarin and plumeria. I love that combination. There’s Yogini too which has sandalwood and grapefruit–an inviting blends I’m sure. Ageless is probably what I would choose to take with me for vacation. It has mango, pink grapefruit and pomogranate. Yes, I can see myself lounging by the pool right now taking in the sun’s rays. For me when you remove all the toxic stuff and keep it simple it makes it the best perfume ever. I’d love to review one of the fragrances. I’m torn between the Hello and Ageless for a variety of reasons. I’m excited about this brand and can’t way tho get my hands on some.
