Blogging since 2004 and a former student of the Fashion Institute of Technology, Miss Princess Dominique has made a name for herself in fashion. They call her “A savvy cocktail of fashion and relationship advice!” “a chocolate Carrie Bradshaw,” with the, “ILL shoe game!” Miss Princess Dominique rules her empire from the beaches of South Jersey, owns Princess Dominique, Inc., obviously has an insane shoe fetish and would have a difficult time time selecting a favorite shoe designer if you put her on the spot. Although her personal style leans more towards vintage, she love corset tops, is smitten with princess seam dresses and prefers to pair her well-worn jeans with a baby tee and 5 in heels. She shares that people often go broke when they shop because they get the wrong idea about fashion. She says, “fashion isn’t about buying the most expensive designers, it’s about learning the difference between overpriced items and quality products and then extracting your own style from that.”
She recently introduced a new category to her popular blog titled, “Cupcake Fashion” because she believes that fashion is art and some cupcakes taste so good they should be art, which should come as no surprise because she is a trendstarter who love cupcakes. She doesn’t think she’ll have to plead with readers to keep an eye on that particular category and she feels the same way about “The Weekly Shoe” category that’s recently taken on a life of it’s own and normally sells out before the update reaches the West Coast readers. “Stylista of the Week” is another feature she created to have a bit of fun. It spotlights women who loves fashion, because she believes that all fashionistas have a little exhibitionist in them.
In talking with a few likeminded fashion lovers on Twitter she created another category called “Playing in Your Closet” where readers can send in photos of the rare and coveted shoes from their own closet via Twitpic or other similar services which she’s really having fun with.
