Project Prom Angel 2012

I must say that putting together Project Prom Angel this year was a tiring yet rewarding feat. I’m still recouping from it, however, we are still on target to do it again next year. We’d like to thank all of our sponsors including SoleSociety.com and WantedShoes.com who provided the footwear for the entire event as well as those who individually sent in dresses and brands who came on board to donate accessories including ShopChameleon.com and others. Unfortunately there were some packages that were sent but we never received and we’re still looking into that so that we can possibly use those donations next year. The girls were appreciative and we are still awaiting some delayed prom photos.

One MAJOR issue we did have with the dress drive is that we got tons of Size 2 dresses however, a lot of the girls were actually almost wearing women’s sizes. Next year we’ll have to broaden our search and make sure we have sizes to fit all the girls. We’d like to thank our sponsors because we truly appreciate them. We’ve already gotten notes, emails and tweets from people wanting to donate next year. We are READY!
