We shared in a previous post the pitfalls of using old and expired make-up. We wanted to repost this handy list of Expiration Dates for Cosmetics. Please help us share it Fashionistas!

Sunscreen 3 years
Bronzers (liquid or powder) 2 years
Facial moisturizers 1 year
Foundation 1 year
Concealer 1 year
Mascara 3 months
Eyeshadow 1 year
Facial powder/blush 1 year
Lipgloss/lipstick 1 year
Natural cosmetics 6 months
Brushes-must be washed properly

    Sunscreen — 3 years? My dermatologist recommends replacing EVERY summer. Just FYI. :)

    Thanks Mel for your every year comment. I’m just reposting from from CBS news, but yes I’ve seen something recently that says the ingredients start to break down after a year. It doesn’t hurt to replace it sooner though so you won’t forget.
