Grammy 2010 Best and Worst Dressed
All right. I didn’t watch the Grammy’s. I have to get up with my husband at 4am so those late nights are a bye-bye thing unless he has the next day off. But I did manage to score what everyone was wearing. Not sure if you’re going to love it all, not sure if I do. I don’t know what Lady GaGa was thinking, but do we ever know?
I like the flow of Katy’s dress and the back but if you look under the arm area it’s a little too revealing.
I think I would have loved Beyonce’s dress if it didn’t have all of the texture on it. I love the deep V and the shoulders that stand up a bit. The color too is trendy this season.
I love love love Keri’s dress. It is sooooo feminine! There was definitely a taupe colored dress trend going on last night.
I’m not crazy about Ashanti’s dress at all. Maybe it’s the sequin dress-silk hem combination.
I like the colors in Pink’s dress just not the style. The look like scales which hence makes it look mermaid-ish.
Rihanna’s dress is a little GaGa-esque for my taste. I don’t know. It doesn’t say Grammy’s.
This is definitely a vintage looking piece. Taylor just looks like she’s trying too hard in it though for me.
Interesting, not spectacular. The colors definitely don’t say wear me to the Grammy’s.
I like Mary, but this just is just cute, plain. Where is the BLING? Isn’t the Grammy’s like the musicmakers ball?
I like Carrie’s Grecian dress, I guess it’s more Grammy-looking than most of the others.
Unless there are more photos, Keri stole the show. I was so disappointed by what they wore. Thank the Lord in Heaven that I didn’t stay up for this! So, what are your thoughts?

The Grammy’s and what were you thinking shouldn’t even go together.
Lady Gaga is on a whole ‘nother level, and I honestly do not know if that’s a good or bad thing. Beyonce is perfect. I forgot all about Ashanti. Rihanna, cool. But I am more of a Mary J. Blige-lovin’ dude.
Also, Pink’s performance was incredible.
I miss the performances altogether Don. Maybe I should have taped it. Boo.
My best dressed is Ashanti & Jennifer Hudson.
My worse dressed is Rihanna and I would put Lady Gaga on this list but she’s in a category all by herself.
I did run across Jennifer’s photo “after” I posted this. And yes Rihanna and Gaga…they are trading style secrets for the Grammy’s.
keri’s dress is by FAR the best… but I gotta say that Lady Gaga does it again!

Rihanna looks like she’s going to an angel’s funeral. Keri looked like a mermaid to me!

I’ve got a lot to say, I love commenting on awards attire, lol. Here goes:
I think Lady G’s hair and makeup looks AMAZING! Her outfit, as usual, is over the top but she is an entertainer and she entertains in everything she does. I love it, it’s very her and she dresses more for creativity than for form and fashion.
Katy Perry…AMAZING!
Beyonce…The form, fit, and color are flattering, however the material looks very heavy, like it’s a comforter, lol. Also, I’m not really feeling the design…but overall she doesn’t get worst dressed.
Keri…AMAZING! I’m surprised to see her wearing something so chic and sophisticated. I o love her style but wouldn’t define it as chic and sophisticated. Glad to see she did it up for the Grammy’s.
Ashanti…she looks as if she’s about to go salsa dancing or do the tango. I think I would have liked the dress on someone else, mainly because I feel that she’s wack and I don’t understand why she’s being invited to the Grammy’s in the first damn place. If I had to give an unbiased opinion though, I’d say the looked very nice.
Pink…love the dress but it doesn’t seem her. Probably because she looks as if she was forced to wear it, why is she mean mugging? A smile might make me appreciate her in the dress more. Aside from her mug, she does look nice.
Rihanna…AMAZING! (as always)
Taylor Swift…VERY NICE! I think I would have preferred it to go in tighter and flair out more at the bottom, as it is it looks as if she didn’t have enough time to get it tailored to be the right length for her…could just be her pose though.
Red dress lady (name escapes me!)…That’s an amazing dress, I think a better hairstyle would make her appearance look more grammy appropriate. A nice old Hollywood hairstyle, like a Dita Von Teese type hairstyle, would have done wonders.
Mar J. Blige…looks amazing but it’s not an appropriate dress for the grammy’s.
Carrie…VERY NICE!
I agree, Pink is more of a rocker chick, her style isn’t ever ball gown.
