I’m usually flexible when it comes to designers and very open minded. My husband sent me this photo as he was browsing the men’s section of style in the Times. In his article for the style section of the New York Times Armand Limnander said that Junya Wantanabe was thinking about Thelonius Monk and his gang of cool cats in the fashion photos above. I ferociously beg to disagree. The hat, not bad, the jacket, not bad either and even the two tone wingtips kind of catchy, but those jingle bell pants spoil the entire deal for me. Being eclectic doesn’t mean going completely overboard. File this under fashion catastrophe please.
