How To: A Post College Boys to Men Make-Over

by Linda “Princess Dominique” Grosvenor

Have you been trying to get your son, nephew or boyfriend out of his t-shirt, jeans and sneakers and give him a more relaxed and polished look now that he’s educated and ready to venture off into the world? Here are some must have items that will still allow him to feel comfortable and display his own sense of style. Jeans are a staple in any wardrobe. Just because you’re revamping your style doesn’t mean you nix the jeans. The key is finding the cut and inseam that fits perfectly with the shoes and boots so they don’t drag as you walk or get walked on and fray on the edges. The dress shirts and sweaters can mix and match with the khakis and the jeans. My husband said crisp white cotton shirts are a MUST in your wardrobe and then you can add other colors and styles after that. The shoes below are all by Cole Haan and they say that he has style and is coming into his own. Send him the link or pick any item for a birthday or Christmas gift to get him started.

Great post and fashion picks for the young man growing into his manhood. Personally, I believe Cole Haan creates the best footwear I have ever worn. I own a least six pairs and the brown boot listed on the site are my favorite, every man needs to invest in quality shoes and Cole Haan has the best quality and comfort in men’s shoes.
