You’ve seen these heels no doubt and by now you know that Australian designer Lisa Carney is the brainchild behind them. I don’t know whether to love or hate them. Here is what she said about them:

“I made them for my catwalk show for Mercedes Australian Fashion week 2002 at Bondi Iceberbs.”

Nobody has actually located a place to buy them and there is debate about whether or not Lisa has created “both” shoes (the ones on the model are slightly different). But you can bet that since 2007 people have been clamouring to find out and frankly, they’re still at it.
