Maybe I have a gladiator fetish. If it has buckles, straps and a rustic looking leather I’m smitten with it and knocking down people to hand over my debit card. This was on my Amazon Wish List until they sold out in size 8, but seriously I wanted these, then I decided against them because they are similar to several other pairs of shoes I already own. There aren’t that many shoes that I’m smitten with. This may be pair number 3. I don’t know I think that for me, it’s not just about collecting shoes but rather awesome shoes fitting nicely into my existing wardrobe. What fun are shoes if you never get to wear them. Price-wise they are the most affordable on my Gimme This! List. The bronze leather doesn’t help. Somebody fan the Princess. She’s having a moment.

I’ve had a crush on this bag by Jypsea since I first saw it in early April , 2009. The pink and the orange leather was driving me mad as I wiggled my fingers saying “gimme, gimme, gimme!” I contacted the designer and she made it happen for me. I’ve been remiss here to share with men some of the fabulous finds that make some men buff up because they are so amazing. For men it’s all about comfort and I can vouch for the Cole Haan “air” series because my husband owns 3 pairs of the Cole Haan Air Infinity Driver. He has them in cognac, white and dark brown leather. I couldn’t find them in black and so when I discovered the Air Owen Venetian they were very similar. I got them for his birthday and I know that he’ll be in love. My plan is to suggest the night before that he wears something that he needs to pair with black shoes then I’ll put them in the tub and pull the shower curtain so he’ll see them before he takes a shower.
