Sergio Rossi Momo Bis-Gladiator Sandals

I love snakeskin shoes. These are python, a little further up on the reptile chain an pricier too. You have to be careful with snakeskin products, especially shoes because if they’re too small and you stretch them they can crack or tear and then you’ve ruined the shoe (which is so not the case with leather). I remember having a pair of kelly green Gucci shoes years ago and that’s exactly what happened to them. They tore and looked horrible to wear. I love the entire construct of this sandal though. I fell in love with the ankle strap. Swoon.Want these. Need these. You know my motto. Gimme that!

Style: Sergio Rossi Momo Bis-Gladiator Sandals. Item #9006. Price $995 from Hu’s Shoes.

oh DEER! Marshmallow Pumps

All right, I know that every single week I say that I’ve fallen in love with the ultimate pair of shoes. These are no different. Originally $150 and marked down to about $40 bucks you’ll have to read the description to get the full appreciation for them. And in case you didn’t notice, there is that little wingtip pattern again.

Step one: Don oh DEER!’s Marshmallow pump. Its sexy, animal print hair calf upper is edged with girly-sweet scalloped trim–a combination that’ll render him unable to tell up from down. Step two: Pounce! These OhDeer! Marshmallow pumps feature a round toe, peep toe, pony hair upper, delicate sequin trim, and leather insole.

See what I mean? To say I’m happy I snagged them is an understatment!

A Red Hot Riot of a Dress!

I love fashion. It’s not about a designer label to me, it’s about the cut, fit and a style that will transition nicely into the next era. In simplest terms. I buy styles that won’t look dated. Princess seams. I heart those. Hot pants or gauchos on the other hand would be a no-no. I saved this dress from a Christmas catalog a couple of years ago. I’m not sure if it was Bergdorf Goodman or Nordstrom. But the red is so vibrant.

The Ones that Got Away!

We’ve all experienced it. We spy a fabu pair of heels and we mentally budget and/or wait for them to go on sale and pray night and day that we can gift ourselves with their beauty and bring them into the fold. But one day you log on to that favorite link that you’ve stashed away and you see this:

We are sorry. This style is currently unavailable.

I’ve tried to remedy that. I’ve started stashing cash away for those must have shoes and sandals. I’ve got a shoe fetish. That’s not a surprise to anyone who has visited my site. These 3 got away from me but I’ll be darned if I let that happen again. I mean, I was already pairing the shoes with something in my closet, visualizing myself in them on my way to lunch, brunch or dinner. Now they’re GONE. I can’t be the only one. Has that ever happened to you? Tell me about it.

When she was a little girl she always wanted to be a doctor. And she did. Dr. Arletha Anderson built a successful private medical practice in Michigan. But, she also always wanted to be a designer. Hats, jewelry, and shoes. Night after night, dream after dream, they came; images of shoes, shoes, and more shoes. Then, all the classes, training, and that workshop in her home’s garage. She began making shoes two years ago. Then one night after one of those “shoe dreams” she saw something different, something new and Twinkle Toes Shoes was born. Every night after work she would cut, and shape, and create these shoes she imagined for women and children. They’re finally here and YOU can win a pair!
