Georgetown Cupcake

They call it DC’s destination for the “designer” cupcake! Their website enamored me. I’m tickled, not necessarily with just the final product of anything, but every aspect of it, customer service, packaging etc. When I saw the slideshow of photos on their cupcake site my mouth began to water. I had never heard of Georgetown Cupcake until I started using Twitter, which proves that the internet is good for something. Georgetown Cupcake opened in February, 2008 and is DC’s first and only Cupcakery. No wonder they say the line is down the block and nearly around the corner. The flavors that normally sell out are the red velvet and lemon blossom. I like their weekly menu schedule too so you’ll know what to expect before you get there. Here are some other flavors to drool over: chocolate ganache, coconut, lava fudge, carrot, chocolate banana, lemon berry, chocolate peanut butter swirl and of course vanilla and they’re so pretty, not to mention it can be a tax write-off if I write about it. DC is closer than Georgia. I’m on my way folks.
