The Hottest Shoes This Season

Okay, I love shoes. If you’ve visited my website before don’t act brand new. There will be a surge around here in a few. I feel like I’m in the middle of a shoe frenzy, but I do appreciate all of you who love shoes too and how you stop by, leave your comments and give me your feedback on what I’ve found. These up top, whew! They make me sweat just looking them. They make a sister want to go to Burger King just to subsidize her shoe habit! They are python. I have to be careful though, I bought a pair of snakeskin shoes and didn’t realize they need to be a half size larger because if you buy them true to size and they stretch like leather shoes, the snakeskin or reptile skin will “tear” not stretch. $335 by Stuart Weitzman. A little pricey, maybe the after summer sale will put these in my budget.

Check out the rest of these beauties though:

I like some of his styles and plan to maybe own a pair or two but although I think these are cute on first glance, I’m not completely sold on what will happen to the feathers over time. That one thing you need to know about me, I buy things to last long term not just on a temporary basis. But they’re still FLAMING don’t get me wrong. I think these were in Bergdorf Goodman in the $700 price range.

These are Christian Louboutin too. Python again. I love the color of these better than the ones up top because they have more of a summer feel. Price? $1095. Python not available in California for some reason and they’re unable to ship this merchandise to Canada.

There is something cute and innocently playful about these sandals. I’ve been trying to pry myself away from the goldtone shoes, but these have a little color and pairs well with white. That’s why I want them. They’re at Nordstrom and average $170-ish. I’m off to find a side hustle.

Platinum Gladiator Sandals Rock!

I’ve had my eyes on this shoe. Sandal rather. I’m a sandal girl. I love something that I can wear and show off my fresh pedicure. I’ve never been a silver, platinum or gold and bronze type of girl but these new styles make me have to bite down hard and resist not buying several pairs of shoes in the same shade. I hope to put these on order next week. After that I can let y’all know where they are. I’ve also noticed that I’m smitten with this gladiator look. Remember these? The ones on top not the bottom ones that I thought were hideous when I got them and sent them back. *lol* And I never did find these either. I guess I should be happy that I did at least get these. Yeah, your girl the original P Diddy has got it bad.

Red Peep Toe Shoes On Sale

I normally hate peep toe shoes, especially pumps because well, with heels it forces your foot forward and your toes get jammed up in the opening and then longer toes try to hang over the front of the shoe. Not cute. But these are hot. I love these. Especially red. There is something naughty about these red shoes that makes me crave to wear it with a white suit. I’m bad sometimes I know, but seriously. I copped these, they were on sale and I’m soooooooooo happy I snagged them. Yep, I’m shoe shopping again. Well, not a lot, just a little. One or two pairs max. I promise! A platform and just shy of 4 inch heels…I’m in HEAVEN!

Shelia sent me this. She knows that I am a devout shoe lover. I’m sorry but there is no way on the planet that you can get me to run a block moreorless a mile in my good stilettos though, or a pair that I hardly like. Like a Bobby Brown comeback–it’s not going to happen.

Like a herd of antelope, jockeying and shoving for position, 150 young women raced down Amsterdam’s most famed fashion street in stiletto heels Thursday, racing for a $15,000 prize.

The race on the P.C. Hooft street called the “Stiletto Run” is only three years old but has quickly grown in popularity and spawned imitation races in Germany, Sweden, Poland and Russia.

The race’s motto is “Shopping is a Sport” and friendly competition is encouraged - though not always observed.

“At the start there was a lot of pushing, you really get elbowed over,” said Fauve Stukje, 18, who came with a small entourage and a big pink sign - but failed to win, show or place.

She said she slightly regretted her choice of shoes, which were nearly 4 inches high - a little higher than the 3 1/2 inch minimum.

Tamara Ruben, 25, from the town of Veenendaal, claimed first prize in the 380-yard race, running so smoothly you might think she was wearing sneakers.

Asked how she would spend the money, she said: “Anything but high heels.”

High Heel Shoes Rock!

High Heel Shoes Rock!

I love shoes. If you’ve been here before you know that. There’s nothing more fab than posing in the mirror in shoes you’re contemplating buying. High heel shoes rock! I was talking to my husband the other day about how I wore flats in my teens and in my 20’s and I believe it saved my feet. I remember what Ashanti was going through with her feet. I didn’t want to have that problem. I used to work at a clinic on 125th Street that had a podiatry department and people let their feet get in some ROUGH shape. The lesson? TAKE CARE OF YOUR FEET LADIES! DON’T WAIT UNTIL SPRING TO GET A PEDICURE! Anyway, oggle the shoes. There’s nothing else to see here.
