Okay, is marriage in the air? Surely you’ve heard the rumor that Tyler Perry and the Ethiopian supermodel Gelila Bekele are engaged to be married, no? I don’t believe it though. Are they still dating? Were they ever really?

Tia Mowry and her husband Cory Hardrict look cute together. I remember when they first got engaged. For some reason I was smiling. I wish them the best, long life and all the blessings that love brings. It’s hard not to stereotype a Hollywood couple. Add Hollywood to the equation and your marriage isn’t supposed to last very long. I hope they prove everybody wrong. With the constant withdrawing and alimony payments in most failed marriages, love deserves some deposits every once in awhile. I wonder when her sister is getting married. No rush. Just asking.

Well it seems that even though divorce rumors have been floating around since March, it wasn’t until this week when Star actually filed for divorce from her purse holder, but not before planting seeds on the Miami Heat court. Dwayne and his wife Siobhan have been separated for close to a year. I guess that makes him fair game. Why don’t women heal before they jump into another relationship. You just go dripping and oozing into something new and drag all of the old baggage with you. She’ll learn. A lot of them will, eventually.

“They’d been having problems,” a friend of West’s told the site. “Kanye is really focused on his show; he’s putting everything into the show right now. Alexis is a nice girl, but Kanye has been going through a rough time. They hit a rough patch and for now they’ve split.”
The couple, who have dated on and off since 2002, got engaged over a lobster and pasta dinner during a vacation on the island of Capri in August 2006, the site reported.
Sources are saying that there is no one thing that is the cause. He lost his mother recently, there is also cheating or fame that could be to blame. He was showing serious interest in Amelle Berrabah this past December.

Let me get this right. First the two of you pose in ESSENCE together and talk about how much in love you are. Then, 7 months later you quit him, quite publicly. Then at the end of that 7th month you’re spouting smack about penning a tell all book. And then she got flattered when he started trying to woo her back a month later. It worked because he was reported sneaking in her back door 2 weeks later and now all the Cassie rumors are smacking her in the face AGAIN.
She goes to magazines and dishes about how she’s done being the ride or die chick for Diddy and yet here they are still, out and on the town until he finds someone more appealing or tires of her again. I knew a guy who was still enamored with the kinds of girls he fell for when he was 15. So he expected the 20 and 30 year old women he dated to be lithe, sickly thin. He couldn’t see that he needed to mature his tastes and give up his 15 year old teenage boy fantasies, but Kim? There’s no excuse. She knows what he’s about. Maybe he’s promised to change though. Maybe he took her on another lavish vacay. That still doesn’t nullify the Page Six account or the cozy photos of Diddy and Cassie. Why women refuse to leave men who are no good for them baffles me. Say what you want, body language says everything. Look at the photo of Diddy and Kim above and the one of Diddy and Cassie below. You decide.
Denial is a wonder sedative. And familiarity isn’t love.
