5 Men Who Rock in 2007

Hill Harper (born Francis Harper on May 17, 1966) isn’t exactly one of my favorite actors. I took notice of him when he released his book. This is a very flattering photo of him and until I saw it I never felt him in a handsome or good looking light. I attribute that to the quirky movie roles he’s chosen, not because he isn’t popping with muscles. Muscles do absolutely nothing for me. Although you can’t tell by looking, but he looks romantic or maybe I just love that shirt he’s wearing. They say the shy and silent types are heartbreakers.

Jamie Foxx - 5 Men Who Rock in 2007

Jamie Foxx (born Eric Morlon Bishop on December 13, 1967) is definitely on the list. I thought he was a bit overexposed the last two years so I didn’t add him to the “rock” list, but you can’t fault him for that. I mean they say he’s mysterious and dedicated and his music and acting prove that. I love how he is taking on more challenging roles, but I also think a dark chocolate man is just so beyond sexy that it’s insane.

Brian J. White (April 21, 1973) was first spotted in The Shield. He played the guy that Lem put in the hospital after he was hit in the head with an iron by Lem’s golddigging wife. I missed him when he left and thought he was one of those pretty boys that get manicures and pedicures along with a monthly facial. For me it’s always the lips. I just can’t get away from that. And he played professional football for the New England Patriots (NFL) and professional lacrosse for the Boston Blazers (NLL) before becoming an actor–and what a great job he does shining up the tv.

Adrian Grenier - 5 Men Who Rock in 2007

Adrian Grenier (July 10, 1976) is a Brooklyn man and I love him in Entourage. It’s the hair. Definitely the hair with this specimen. He has that messy hair that just gives the lady impulses. His 5 o’ clock shadow aint bad either. He has that dirty boy look. Not dirty boy as in dirty nasty sex, but just unkempt. As long as he’s not grungy it’s all good. Got to love Entourage, right?

Mark Wahlberg - 5 Men Who Rock in 2007

Mark Wahlberg (June 5, 1971) has always been one of my favorites (actors not musicians). Maybe it’s his bad boy persona, or his screen presence, either way he’s nice to look at and will make some girl very very very lucky. He was an evil something in Fear, but then again, I wasn’t dating him, so, it was doable. He’s come a long way from Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch though.

Real Chance of Love on VH1

The Real and Chance Show on VH1

This weekend an enormous amount of hits threatened to send my blog over its bandwidth! I’m finally getting to the bottom of it. Travis and DJ Am were in a plan crash. They are in critical condition, but back in November there was a rumor that Travis Barker was found dead in his garage and I blogged about it. The headline was Travis is Not Dead and people kept flooding this site this weekend after the plane crash pulling up that old post about the garage rumor thinking that it was referencing the recent plane crash.

And then, I thought there was some news in the Juanita Bynum and Bishop Thomas Weeks III camp because there were TONS of hits on the sitemeter where people were pulling up articles on their wedding and the parking lot beating and the court drama and I’m thinking, okay, what’s going on with those two and I find out that on his website he has a video clip that he’s selling telling women what it will take to become the next Mrs. Weeks as–as if any sane woman cares or desires to know how to become “that” woman–I say that tongue in cheek of course because you know there are desperate women everywhere lining up and waiting baited breath to become somebody’s anybody’s husband–namely his because of his status and public persona. To that I say whatever and then “get delivered”.

Finally in my search to see what was yanking my bandwidth, there was an ENORMOUS amount of traffic bordering on INSANE looking for information about REAL and CHANCE the brothers from I LOVE NEW YORK and I’m thinking, c’mon, it can’t be THAT serious. Groupies are a dime a dozen. Just wank on their Myspace pages if you need to gush so badly. Then I find out why they were sniffing around my page for something gawk at, it seems that they are launching their own reality show. Who knew!

America’s two favorite brothers Real and Chance tried to steal New York’s heart in the VH1’s hit series I Love New York but were both left broken-hearted. Now the Stallionaires are back and ready to find love in their own new 11-episode series. Real and Chance will get their much deserved, and much anticipated chance to find real love as 15 young ladies move into their Stallionaire Ranch house and try to capture their hearts. In the final episode, Chance and Real will make the most difficult decision of their lives. With two women vying for each of their hearts, they must decide who they would like to take a real chance of love with, and who’s going home alone.

Yep, it’s true, they have their own show coming. You knew it was going to happen. You didn’t hear it here first, but so what. Will you watch it? Of course you will. I know I will. I can stomach them before I could ever stomach Ray-Jay. Set your Tivo for November 3. At least now Real can soothe that hurtin’ that Hoopz put on his heart by just about laughing “in” his face “while” she turned down his proposal. And um, groupies, please don’t email me. I don’t know how you can get on the show, so don’t ask. *smh*

tyler perry and gelia bekele engaged

Okay, is marriage in the air? Surely you’ve heard the rumor that Tyler Perry and the Ethiopian supermodel Gelila Bekele are engaged to be married, no? I don’t believe it though. Are they still dating? Were they ever really?

Jennifer Hudson Engaged to Punk

Okay, I know I said no gossip, but I had to share this. Publicity stunt or no? I really like Jennifer so I hope not. She can get by on her singing ability alone. She doesn’t have to be a skinny chick and have her lovelife plastered all over the news to get rating, sales or go triple platinum. Thanks to my source who keeps me in the loop.

The Oscar winner is engaged to I Love New York 2 star David “Punk” Otunga, her rep tells Usmagazine.com.

Otunga, a Harvard Law grad who has worked with Rev. Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, popped the question on her 27th birthday.

The two have been dating for less than a year.

“I am very happy,” Hudson told Usmagazine.com last month at a Dove event. “I don’t think I have ever been happier.”

Awww that’s ‘tweet, but okay I have 4 questions. Did everybody know this EXCEPT me? Why didn’t anybody tell me? A whole year? And, I thought he was gay?
