Does Diddy Deserve a Star?

Sure every blogger and their moma has been going on about Diddy and his Hollywood star, but with the example that he’s set (example 1, 2, 3) do you think he deserved it? How do you get a star anyway? Do you rally a bunch of folks and get them to offer up money to have it made? To me, he’s made money but he’s never been a role model or an example for me or anyone in my circle (which is very small anyway). Tell me what you really think! Go on…

I’m not sure of the criteria but regardless of what folks think of him personally, he has been successful in entertainment–so for that, he should be getting a star. He’s had a successful career as a rapper, clothing line, #1 men’s cologne and that’s just some of his ventures.

I hear all that is needed to get a star is the money and a nomination. It is not always about the talent.

What exactly is the criteria for getting a star? is it acting, singing etc cause if thats the case guys like Ice Cube should have gotten a star by now too. Having a clothing line and a cologne to me isnt why you get a star and regarding diddy’s hollywood career its been pretty lukewarm in my opinion.

I don’t know the criteria needed in order to garner a Hollywood Star. I am not sure P. Diddy does either. But I do recognize him as a star celebrity. He definitely has star power, so that may be what the academy looked @.
Now, what did he do to gain that superstar status? Oh, I’m still trying to figure that out.
