A Wonderfully Colorful Summer

If you can’t already tell, this spring and summer season is filled with a tremendous amount of color. Not the trees and perfectly lined flower gardens–I’m talking, shoes, tops, skirts, sundresses and even handbags are all brandishing a rainbow of colors. Royal Blue is back and I highlighted it in another post. Shoes and sandals that took on bronze and platinum shades last year are now looking like fruit in the garden variety of lemon and orange and lime. An easy way to beef up your wardrobe without having to toss everything and start fresh? Buy a couple of neck scarves in the pretty colors, a couple pairs of shoes or sandals and accent pieces like a patent leather belt that could easily pair with a darker colored dress or suit from last year or the year before. We’d go broke trying to keep up. Some of us (me included) have to wing it a little bit.
