I Need Some Intervention

My baby can bake. Cake from scratch, cinnamon rolls-from scratch and he can bedazzle a meal–again, from scratch. Now of course you’re not going to ask me how I know. Well, I need intervention. The summer is not going to roll around and catch the Princess out there with a spare tire. It’s time to pass on the sweets, say no to the donuts and try to make bland and tasteless seem yummy. I’ve got to do something. They say when you get married you gain the equivalent of what college kids gain–the freshmen 10, although mine turned out to be more than 20. I’m not pushing maximum density, I’m just not liking the idea of having to go up a dress size so I’ve got to cut the carbs and trust me, cutting carbs hurts. More details later.

I am not even married and need to lose about 10-15 lbs. I am cutting out pop at work, I rarely have pop(soda) at home. More water. Right now as I type I am having lunch with water.

princess, congrats! When did you get married?

when i got married back in the day, i put on 25 lbs!! in 6 months. yikes!!!!

i have never been able to completely shake them all, and that was 10 years ago. However, I have been on a mission since january to be left with only 10 of them (wanna keep my womanly curves, lol).

myfooddiary.com has been the bomb!! I’ve lost 6 pounds, with only 5 to go. just getting a handle on my caloric intake was SO eye-opening!!

Curves are good Kim and right now I think that when I lose weight I lose it in my face and neck. Nothing from the hips sooo ummm. It’s got to be worth it.
