Marry Me? How To Pop The Question

You’re looking for the most romantic proposal. But is he or she the one for you? If you aren’t sure check out The Plural Thing: Spiritually Preparing for Your Soul Mate.

If you’re certain he or she is the one check out these interesting ways to propose:

Give him/her a heart shaped box of chocolates, with one chocolate missing and an engagement ring in it’s place. When she opens the box, get down on one knee and pop the question.

He wanted to do something that no one else had done. The night before he “popped the question” he took the ring and froze it into an ice cube, knowing that after work they would have a drink with each other. Once she got home he asked her if she wanted something to drink. She said yes and sat down on the couch. He brought the glass over to her as she was enjoying her drink the ice cube with the ring was melting. The girlfriend had the glass to her lips and just stared into the glass. She looked at him and then back at the glass and realized what was inside. He got on one knee and asked her to marry him.

Buy several bags of candy conversation hearts and take out all of the hearts that say “marry me”. Put them together in a special heart shaped candy dish and give it to her. As she starts reading the conversation hearts, get down on one knee with the ring.

If there is a place that is special to you both, such as a lake, park, ball field, amusement park, beach, etc., you might want to consider popping the question there. What about the place you went to on your first date, or the place that was host to the first time you expressed your love for each other? Proposing in a such a location adds even more significance to it.

Finding the exact route that my girlfriend takes every time she goes to a certain place. Put a sign saying her name, then a few miles down the road another sign telling her how wonderful she is. Then another sign down the way telling her of a grand surprise waiting for her around the next corner. And last a huge billboard reading, “Will you marry me?” with me kneeling at the side of the road offering the engagement ring to her!

Happy Valentines Day, to you and yours Dominique.

The ring in the glass sounds romantic. If I ever get married that would probably be what I do on that special day of proposal.
