Exposing Old Skeletons

How do you let an old skeleton out of your closet? I had a wild bachelorhood with my share of one-night stands, but there is one evening in particular that has stood out in the back of my mind. Granted, I wasn’t married at the time and I didn’t even know my wife then either, but it is something that I’d like to share with her once and for all. How is the buildup created to get the ball rolling and then hit her with what I’ve got to say? I know she’s not going to run out on me or anything like that, and it’s not disrespectful to her or any woman, but it was pretty… out there. What do I do next to get this off of my chest? - ANONYMOUS

Her bachelorette days may not have been as wild as yours but I’m sure you don’t know everything either. If it won’t hinder or assist the relationship I’m not 100% certain why you feel the need to share it, especially if it has to do with another woman, however, wherever your favorite lay back and chat place is to talk, go there. Start reminiscing, not about “your” relationship, but general “back in the day” stuff. Throw on some 80s music. Slide it in there. You might be surprised that she’ll want to share something too.
