I have used the regular Oil of Olay since I was 16. My skin is sensitive. I didn’t go through the whole pimple phase that most teens do–maybe due to using it. The regular “pink” product doesn’t work for me now though. It has a slight fragrance and I think I need to try this one–Definity, since my skin obviously needs something different now. Angela makes 40 look damn good though. They say 40 is the new 30. Watch out young’uns–alcohol, puffing and all that partying will age ya! But then there’s Oil of Olay.

The national television and print campaign, promoting Olay’s Quench body lotion for the African-American market begins this month. The product, a shea butter formula containing an exclusive amino-vitamin formula that breaks the cycle of dry skin, eliminates the need for constant reapplication.

“Angela Bassett personifies the kind of woman who buys Olay products. She has ageless beauty and an aura of sophistication but she’s also very likable and real, a very rare combination,” said Brenda Blonski, senior vice president/group creative director at Burrell. “Research shows African-American women have different skin conditions and behaviors as it relates to how they use beauty products.”
