Steve Harvey’s Ex-Wife Speaks. Sometimes when an ex-wife speaks, you don’t know if it’s the truth or if she’s disgruntled. I’ve noticed that he has been used more and more in a Christian arena, not sure why, but here is what Steve Harevy’s wife had to say:
Big tooth comedian Steve Harvey is a neglectful father and abuser says his ex-wife, Mary Lee Harvey.
Mary is reportedly suing “Mr Hightower” for adultery, abandonment of some of his children, his poor and neglectful parenting of the their child, and physical and mental abuse.
According to Vibe.com, she also alleges that she was conned into a speedy divorce by Harvey and the former couple’s attorney, Ricky Anderson, in order to protect Harvey’s “Good Shepherd” image, and undermine his alleged abuse.
In a complaint, Mary Harvey claims to have been told by Anderson that she could not legally receive $1000 in monthly child support for their youngest son Wynton.
She is now charging Anderson with breach of contract, professional negligence, and conspiracy.
Steve and Mary Harvey officially divorced in December 2005.

You’re right. I mean, I’m sure she had access to “some” of the money. I don’t get that helpless woman syndrome at all.

She should have been putting away some of his money in her own separate account before they divorced. It’s cool if you think that you’re going to be with someone forever, but don’t be stupid. Always have you a little emergency money stashed somewhere.

oh HELLZ nah. i wish there was a way to shut women like her up. if she was truly affronted by his treatment, she would have checked him long before 2005.

I question her motives. Why all of a sudden is she bringing this up? I don’t know Steve personally but from what I understand he’s a good father. Is she jealous of the new wife? Everybody wants their “five” minutes of a fame, so maybe this is her way of trying to get hers. The next thing we know, she’ll be writing a tell all book.

Last year I listened to the show almost everyday…he got remarried last year…it was sort of a surprise…only his close friends/family knew about it…he went on vacation (didn’t tell the listening audience he was going to get married)…and came back from his vacation a married man.
