Bishop Thomas Weeks Calls Juanita Bynum a Liar

It’s getting ugly and it really doesn’t have to. Why exes are so dead set on trying to tarnish your reputation is beyond me. Hurt runs deep I guess and they say watch out for a woman scorned, but men scorned seem to be even worse than that. One thing Juanita Bynum said was true. She had fame before she met him. She was Juanita Bynum and will continue to be. Some men have issues with a woman who is more recognizable than they are. Not sure if this is true in “his” case, but the fight is on. I guess I need to run out and get that copy of ESSENCE.

“I know what happened that night. I was there … and those marks are not from me,” Weeks asserts.

This is what Juanita Bynum had to say in response to statements that her estranged husband Bishop Thomas Weeks had to say in regards to Juanita Bynum’s interview she did with Essence where she speaks very candidly about their troubled marriage.

“Bishop Weeks is doing exactly what he promised he would do and that is, “TRY” to destroy my name with lies, fabrications and exaggerations. His behavior is to be expected! Yet, the facts and photos that were taken by the district attorney’s office of me two days later and the doctor’s report from two different hospitals could not be forged nor entered into the court system as legal documents for evidence, otherwise the District Attorney’s office would not have been able to pass down an indictment. When it comes to facts the courts are different from the media. In court you have to present real facts and witnesses run the risk of perjuring themselves, therefore I cordially invite all of Bishop Week’s witnesses to the stand.

I am not the one on trial, therefore I have nothing to defend. How can I choke myself until the blood comes to the surface of my skin and then kick myself in five other places, one of which could not be photographed because it was in a private area [?] At this stage of my ministry/career with major projects pending, I would not have had any motive to stage my own attack and bring worldwide negative press to myself. Having been in ministry for 20 years and reaching world wide status prior to me meeting Bishop Weeks I am confident in the power of truth! I was Juanita Bynum when I walked into this marriage and I will continue to be Juanita Bynum as I exit from this marriage in spite of all false allegations that have come against my name. As I have stated from the beginning, this too shall pass!“

Divoce is never pretty. Divorce when celebrity and money are involved is even uglier.

This man is such a liar. We would all respect him more if he would just say “I made a mistake” and I repent. His actions and his lies affect not just the believers but the non-believers as well. There are many people who I’ve witnessed to that asked me about this event then asked me about his inability to HUMBLE himself and be honest. HEY BISHOP IT’S CALLED ACCOUNTABILITY. Step down and regroup you are in no condition to pastor a flock with a spirit of blame. The God we serve is too Holy for you to sit in the pulpit. In the old testament days Bishop you would have been struck dead and pulled out of the holy of holies by a rope. You continue to pastor with a prideful spirit too haughty to step down.

Sooo I guess the guy who pulled the Bishop off Juanita was just “seeing things”.

She’s dead on, and I agree with TOY. Had he just kept his mouth shut instead of “I walked away this time” or any other lameness, we could’ve had some respect for the man.

Empty wagon makes the most noise. Poor man doesn’t have a case.

Okay, I have been silent through this ordeal, but now I am compelled to speak, as a believer myself I am not only shocked by the Bishop’s behavior but saddened as well, IAGREE this so called BISHOP has to step down, but what do it say about the members of his church continuing to attend his services? which GOD do they serve, I use to attend Clearance McClendon’s church when all of that mess went down, and him saying the Lord showed him his New Wife when he was still married to his Then Wife with Kids, there is a spirit of DECEPTION running rampant in the church community and we have to beware these are the last days, and the Word says, many will come in my name (BEWARE). Now moving on… Juanita Bynum got with this man all wrong, I don’t believe the Lord showed her that this was her Husband, I believe she chose him, he states that she asked Him TO marry her?? Now according to scripture that is out of order, there is alot wrong with this Big picture, but when we don’t wait on God, we suffer greatly, I’ve been there from experience, but Praise God, his grace has prevented me from doing MY WILL BUT HIS WILL. Bishop Weeks is coming off as a person you can’t Trust, Vengence is the word that comes to mind, no one deserves to be BEAT like she was, and I agree with her, you can’t be 100% sure that that DEMON won’t pop back up at any given time, The LESSON WAIT ON THE LORD PEOPLE, I SAY WAIT ON THE LORD, IT’S WORTH IT IN THE END.

Thanks for chiming in Mocha. I too tried to hold my piece. All this ties into my book The Plural Thing: Spiritually Preparing for Your Soul Mate. People need to learn to hear what God is saying, not their feelings.

Am a pastor in Nigeria, Africa. I first heard a preacher on radio asking for prayers for juanita bynum’s marriage last week. I really doubted that this could happen to the marriage of this “experienced couple”. Please brodas and sistas, no condemnation, they need our prayers at this time. publish it not in the camp of the enemy. this is not good news. Juanita is not Christ, but she is an example of what God can do in the life of a woman. Its making evangelism difficult here. please lets pray. thanks. http://www.mightymanifestation.com

 where is the practice of what we preach ? about Forgiveness, Juanita must forgive his husband.
about being patient, She must be patient living with him.
Weeks must humble himself, must apologyse, must not fight by words, must pay all the taxes of his wife.

He must speak good things about Juanita even now.

Juanita must remember good times they used to have.

Juanita and weeks must show the world that reconciliation is possible, forgiveness is possible, and a marriage can become even better.

lovers also fight they fight because they are lovers, they differ because they are different, they need each other because both they are weak, they need to put popularity away so that they may be honest and true to each other.

We must not forget that there are two sides to every story, what we should do is Pray for the couple and let The Lord`s will be done. I take no sides because I was involved in a very ugly divorce. God heal me and life went on she was smart when she said this too shall pass- God Bless

If this is true about Bishop Weeks and Prophetess Juanita Bynum, I am saddened by it because they are a perfect couple. Marriages are hard and I can only pray that God will have his way and his will be done. Let us all pray for the couple. God bless.
