Myspace Issues and Peeves

Myspace peeves. I’m on Myspace.com. It’s pretty great for networking. I’m not there looking for anything else. I’ve got everything I want. The thing that gets me though are two major things and if you say that you’re on Myspace for networking and do either one of these things–STOP IMMEDIATELY!

People who say that they are on Myspace to network and when you click to add them as a friend because you think their photo, or product is interesting, you see that you have to know their last name or their personal email address. Why do people do that? Sure there are tons of pervs out there, but that’s what the delete button is for. To say that you’re on there for networking and then the people who “want” to network with you can’t…well, it just defeats the purpose.

Okay, the second peeve really really gets my panties in a bunch. You know the people, I’m talking about the people who are on Myspace for networking and they make that clear by shooting a comment over to your page the minute you add them. That’s not the bad part, the bad part to me is when you try to reciprocate and mosey over to their page to leave a comment and they purposely hold your message to be approved and then won’t let your message go through. These kinds of people want to litter up your page with their ads and then won’t allow you to do the same. I had to send an email to one chick who is a budding PR person I’m guessing to ask if there was a problem. Within a week she had left 3 messages on my page and then I scroll and not one of mine made her page.

I’m the wrong chick. Don’t Myspace cross me. Seriously.

Note: I get lots of information on jobs, casting and extra gigs, so, to stay abreast on that and fashion and celeb news join my discussion group at princessdominique-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. I get way too many to post them on the blog or to my mailing list. Thanks!
