Why Did I Get Married Movie and Contest

“Why Did I Get Married?” was the top film at U.S. and Canadian theaters, pulling in $21.5 million in receipts, and ending the two-week run of Walt Disney Co.’s “The Game Plan” in first.
I saw and thoroughly enjoyed Why Did I Get Married. It was funny because at first certain characters struck a chord with me. I thought that I could relate to Shelia (Jill Scott) with a lack of encouragement from those who say they love you and then I thought I could related to Angela (Tasha Smith) with the way she says what’s on her mind and will fight tooth and nail to get the golddiggers to back up off of what she considers hers. The more I thought about it Pat’s (Janet Jackson) character made me think about my relationship book The Plural Thing and how just because you write a book doesn’t mean that you don’t have issues or underlying matters plaguing your life or your relationship.
