Invasion Movie

I have a weird thing about remakes. I’m not against making them, but don’t name them an abbreviation of the original because it deceives people. I mean, it’s bad enough that the youth nowadays already thinks that the music they’re listening to is first run. I do want to see this movie though. I want to see the differences however slight. I’ll keep you posted. Is this on your must see list?

Can’t say that it is - honestly, I don’t recall hearing anything about it that piqued my interest.

No luv. I was a fan of the b/w original and even the remake by in ‘79 or whatever. But I’ll wait until it comes out on DVD. Which should be about a week after the movie comes out… lol .. different kind of speed for miss Nicole Kidman though…

Sawreee Princess. I was referring to the fact that movies come out so fast nowadays on DVD after just being in the movies. Actually, I think this will fare pretty well. But we’ll be waiting on a review from the royal one!

I didn’t realize this was a remake. I saw the previews and have it on my list of movies to see.

Just saw it yesterday - was pleasantly surprised to find that the storyline is only based on the original movies…the plot is totally different (from what I can remember of the version with Donald Sutherland, who was the main character). There was also another version in the early nineties between the Sutherland and Kidman versions - in this one, a teenager living on an Army Base with her father and evil stepmother was the main character. I liked it …kept me entertained the whole time…was never sure if good was going to win out…which makes a good horror flick.
