Karrine Superhead Steffans

Note to: Karrine “Superhead” Steffans: If you want to be taken seriously–CHANGE.

Wasn’t she the same chick on Starting Over telling the ladies to change their ways?!?! Then she went and did more of the stuff she did in book #1 and spun it off into another book? Am I missing something here?

This chick really gets on my nerves. I read her book and I’m glad I didn’t purchase it. Every person that she got involved with she was sooo in love with them, when it was obvious that they were using them. Shes a lying opportunist. Her 15 minutes should have been up 30 minutes ago

lol@Sheletha.. “Her 15 minutes should have been up 30 minutes ago ” - Yeah.. very true. But I’m supposing the money is what keeps her going with this crusade of outting guys she’s been with. After all, her first book raked in some good profit numbers for her so the only thing left for her to do is a sequel. How sad….

She raked in good profits for being a whore. As a consumer Im appauled. When are we going to put the publishing industry’s feet to the fire??? These are lies and when she is on talk shows and people point out that shes lying then she becomes offended. Do people screw? yes, they do…but at some point in time a woman figures out that putting it on blast isnt cute at all. She’s clearly not learning anything. She a role model for those that want to be video hoes…what kinda role model is that? What happened to women being anything from doctors to forensic scientist?

I really want to fight her.

She gets on mine too especially since she was posing as a motivational speaker and now look at her on the cover? I’m thinking, whatever chick. Do as I say not as I do?

    Luke truly sad indeed.

Jdid–I’m thinking who cares but of course people will buy the book. They always buy books like that.

Sheletha somebody needs to put their feet to the fire, because they say you can tell a lot about a society by the music it listens to and the book it reads. Sad for us in this “free” country. *smh*

Is she going to talk about Bill Maher in that book? She is making money, but I can not believe anybody seriously still wants to sleep with her. Men will stick it anywhere. Ew.

MizJJ yeah, you’re right. I love our black men in general and try not to dog them unnecessarily but too many of them see a pretty or passable face and just close their eyes and make a wish and hope they don’t catch something. Ewww is right. I mean, you can’t think you’re the only one who was in there–it’s in the book for goodness sake! *smh*

Superhead is a superjoke and this new book has done more emotional/spiritual harm than financial good. Of course, she’ll make some bread from her new so-called literary endeavor, but what about the wayward women and misogynistic men who were primed 2 possibly turn their lives around during Ms.Steffans “motivational speaker” stint?

Homegirl is gonna do what she do and that’s her journey; however, I’m more concerned with the lives of (our) people that are affected by digesting her lifestyle into their spirit. We all have the power to uplift, regardless of what gift we possess 2 do so…I see this new book doing more damage than good in the long run - even for Ms.Steffans.

When you’re done beating her down…pray for her and then pray for us all because she’s still (our) sister and reflects a mindset that is nestled in the souls of many young people.

PS- I’m gonna stop posting in your comments, Princess…I promise! :)

Fave keep posting. We need more male input around here. And yes, prayer is the key, because you’re definitely not given that kind of exposure to not change lives.

this chic is terrible. she’s made her name off of being a receptable for man juice. it’s really quite sad she is still peddling herself. she’s a dummy. and any man dealing with her is a bigger dummy.

I hate this chic sooooooooooo much. But it just goes to show this world for what it currently is. This whore musta sold a lotta books to have her publisher let her have a go at it again.

    Ugh.

Motivational Speaker? LOL That funny as hell! This chic is straight nasty. And the men who continue to sleep with her are too. Everybody and their momma has been up in that. AND she’s telling about it. WTH? Does she have children?

By Kayla on Jul 11, 2007

  15. Gravatar

Aquababie, I never understood how you explain that to the kids, especially when there’s something like a book out there!

Creole I’m sure she sold tons. I mean, she got prime tv spots!!!!! Craziness!!!!!

Kayla I think she has a son. Not sure. I didn’t read the book though so I could be guessing.

Oh I just saw the blurbette for Buckeey’s tell all in this issue. I want to read it but I don’t want to support Miss Head.

I agree with all of you. She’s a ho and prostitutes herself for attention, money, and whatever else the foolish men she deals with give her. I know her son is going to end up hating her when he gets older and his friends start talking smack about his mother and her whoring ways.

But on the other hand I still want the highlights from the book even if they are exaggerated. I didn’t read the first one, but maybe I need to spend some time in B&N with a latte.

And this quote is a gem:

    Karrine on Lil’ Wayne
“I thought he was too young, and I just always thought he was ugly. That’s real talk. I thought he looked like a tree monkey…”
