I Love Butter

I’ll probably never ever give up butter even if one day a miracle occurs and I do actually give up cheeseburgers. I love butter. I drown my pancakes, yeast rolls, cornbread in it and like a thick dollop of it in the middle of my rice. My mom used to make fun of me because when I buttered toast for everybody I didn’t spread it all out. I just cut a nice square piece and let it melt in the middle of the toast to the rest remained unbuttered. I could never get used to the artificial taste of margarine and it grosses me out how if you leave a tub of margarine near the stove it turns back to oil. So you’re really just eating cold oil. Yuck! I guess the butter “flavor” helps. I do have some peeves when it comes to butter, well, one peeve. I hate crumbs in it! That means when you make your toast and need to butter it, NO DOUBLE DIPPING! No putting your crumb riddled spoon or knife back in the fresh smooth creamy butter. That goes for anything else you need to butter too. take enough the first time or at least make sure you scoop out all the residue of what you are buttering on your second dip. I don’t want to see rice, sauce or bread crumbs in my butter when I go back two days later. C’mon. work with me.

I don’t buy butter. I buy margarine. I like alot of it on my vegetables. For some reason I think butter is too fattening. Haven’t used real butter in 20 years…but I am with you on folks leaving stuff on it after they use it.

Butter, margarine, mayo, jelly….please don’t leave breadcrumbs in any of the aforementioned items.

I Love butter too. I started it using more lately. I was a margarine person for a long while. Make a grill cheese, mashed potatoes or french toast, the butter flava is tha bomb. LOL.

I remember finding out that what my family’d called “butter,” for so long, was actually margarine. I’d accidentally grabbed some REAL butter and got quite a shock.
That’s some nasty $#!+. I’ll take the fake stuff all day long.

instead of butter on the rice, try the blood of steak so rare it moves if you look closely enough. now that’s good stuff.

I rarely eat butter, but when I do I am always amazed at how great it tastes.

This post is so random lol. But I love butter too. When I was a kid I used to have my own stick of butter lol. Now my new found passion is the honey butter and herbed butter that they sell at whole foods…. heavenly

Nothing beats the taste of REAL butter. If it’s natural then it’s good for you. I think there’s a study somewhere linking one of the processed ingredients in margarine to stroke. I’ll have to look for it.
