Burt’s Bees Buttermilk Soap

Product Description: An all vegetable soap that combines buttermilk and honey. Gently cleanses baby’s sensitive skin. Has a very light, sweet smell. Comes as an easy to hold on to round bar.
Note: I discovered this soap back in 1995 when I was selling aromatherapy products. I used this soap and used to buy it by the case. Back then it used to come in a square block, like the toy blocks for kids. I’m glad they changed the shape. It’s easier to hold like they say. I have sensitive skin and although I like the fragrant soaps and gelles they break out my shoulders and other places if I use them too frequently. It’s gentle enough for a baby so you know its got me covered. The light honey and buttermilk scent is dreamy.

I just love Burt’s Bees products too. It’s ashame that not too many stores around here carry the full line.

i have seen it around and i have been tempted to buy a bar, but with a household of six it’s kind ahard to splurge. maybe that will be my “back on the block” present to myself.

I’m wondering how that would be for eczema.. My son has VERY sensitive skin and we can only use a few soaps. I’m gonna have to try this one out. We’re always looking for good products! Thaks for the heads up!

I use to work in a health food store and the Burt’s Bee’s rep loved me. I got so much free shit off him. I still love their lip gloss.

i use the lip balm too. you should write a blog about how addictive lip balm is i have only found one product that isn’t. its call aquaphor. zette and i are going to the ny at the end of the month. are you going to be there then?

I use their lotion sometimes. Good stuff. Never thought about sampling their soap.

I love Burt’s. I haven’t tried that soap but I’m going to need to because my skin went and got REAL sensitive.

Dang, I’ve never heard of this. I don’t have sensitive skin, but I don’t just use anything for it. I was thinking of chaning my facial cleanser. I used to use cocoa butter soap, but I haven’t found any in years now, so I’ve had to use other facial cleansers that just doesn’t clean my skin, IMO like the cocoa butter did. I think I’ll give this a try. If it doesn’t work for me, I think I’ll try Ambi. I’ve seen this throughout Wally World, and I know it’s for women/men of color.
