Now Playing: Number 1 - Pharrell

I took a trip to New York last week to handle some personal business that let’s just say, couldn’t be handled without me :) Needless to say it got handled and I enjoyed my stay. One of the things being there proved to me though is how out of touch I was with things and how much it had changed since I’d last been there. I almost didn’t recognize the place. It looked so much like a tourist attraction and even the faces up and down the street made me feel like I was on a different continent. I don’t know. When I made it to New York in June it was the Bronx I was shining in and its pretty much the same up there. Somebody should have prepared me for Harlem on down, you know. Some things never change though, because I felt those pangs of longing the moment I left–wanting to be there still. I’ll be back though–sooner than later. Anyway…

I copped this and some other stuff…
(trust, the photo does them no justice, they look better “on”)

ANNNNNND I wish that they didn’t confiscate my Born Lippy lip gloss at the airport. *pout* I truly felt robbed, since besides the shoes that’s the only thing in my bag that I ultimately live for. But waking up with Pharrell’s “Number 1″ in my head was cool…

“Yesterday I was half the man you see
Baby that’s because you the other half of me

You my number 1 hit on the line of the charts
I’mma FedEx my love and have you sign for my heart”

…and I hummed it while I got over the fact that I’ll have to search the net to locate this discontinued flavor. I’ll be really really sad if I don’t find it, but I’d gladly smile and take that seranading outside of my window (even if its off key) around 11pm, pleeeeease!

Google Search Word(s) of the Day: Eva Pigford Nipples*

*These searches are getting plain psycho!

Note: I get lots of information on jobs, casting and extra gigs, so, to stay abreast on that and fashion and celeb news join my discussion group at princessdominique-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. I get way too many to post them on the blog or to my mailing list. Thanks!

Can’t remember the last time I took a trip to NY. Oh wait, it was when Lion King first opened. I stayed in Jersey & hopped over to NY for the play. Sorry about your lip gloss - I know that’s high up on your “list of things that make the Princess smile”. Hope you can find it. Write to the company & tell them it got confiscated…see if they send you a care package. Hey, it worked with the magnetic poetry. Dang, those shoes are HOT!

They confiscated your !#^$# lip GLOSS?!

See, this is why I need to keep my feet on the doggone ground. Screw airport security. A mo’ fo’ll think I’m a packin’ a bomb, the way I’d pitch a fit when they try to take my discontinued $#!+.

    That is so insane.

MsJay that’s a great idea. If I lay it on thick maybe I can get something lol

Rose you’ll like it there even if its just a visit. I think everybody should spend at least a weekend there.

West umm, are you making fun of me  Seriously it is insane. A lip gloss bomb?

We can always depend on Princess to keep us up to date with the fashionable shoes. But a day of walking in those shoes would having me crawling. *ouch*

Princess, guess what I found out. When other people at my job access your page, it tells them “Welcome Aziza.” *hee hee* I guess the visitor can’t distinguish IP addresses from people at the same domain.

where do you wear those shoes? I love them but I have (almost) no social lilfe and would fear that they would just collect dust.
