Virginia is for…
July 2, 2006 – 1:24 pmPosted Under: bookshelf, travel

Many of you know the Princess loves the beach. Although it was a minor detour en route to somewhere else I had to quell the impulse I had to just dive right in and get wet and messy. I’ve loved the water my entire life and returning to something I love like that made me realize how much I was missing it–its been years. I still got wet though.

I just had to make sure not to get the phone wet…

Saw this funny sign on the strip in Virginia Beach and I again, I had to curb an impulse to violate it, but I don’t know exactly what they expect with beer, pina coladas and all those restaurants serving alcohol. I mean, let the sun go down, mix in handsome men and beautiful women and serve up a recipe for disaster why don’t you.

Prov 31 sent me this shirt and I wanted to pose in it. I was telling you about it in a previous post but they are the softest shirts I’ve ever worn. As soon as I get their website I’ll post that too.

Of course we had to get a cute little writers group shot.
Please buy the books and support hardworking authors. I’ve listed them from left to right according to author in the photo above.
The Hamptons
Songs In Search Of A Voice
Raymond’s Daughters
Ted is still working on his official release date TBA
Waving at Jackie and Rachel for putting together such a spectacular after party. Always great seeing you both, but with all that “good” food now I’ve got to fast all week since this is beach season *pout* I ate THREE cheeseburgers! But seriously you do need to move to the NC. Forget enemies, I like to keep my friends close.
Note: I get lots of information on jobs, casting and extra gigs, so, to stay abreast on that and fashion and celeb news join my discussion group at princessdominique-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. I get way too many to post them on the blog or to my mailing list. Thanks!

Hey Princess. I am truly impressed. I had no idea that you were an author.
With more than one book to boot! I’ve got a book coming out this month.
It’s a self-published venture. I was offered a deal in the past , but
I didn’t like the terms. If you ever need any bookstore info or media
contacts in Toronto , just let me know. Take care.

It was a fun time indeed. Glad you got a chance to unwind at the beach - my turn is coming soon I hope. We must do it again (um…December? LOL OK, OK - I’m just kidding). Off to polish off the last of my rum punch. Now you see why we RAVE about it!!

i’m jealous of you at the beach! i’ve never really been a “beach” person, but i’ve been wanting to go for a few months now for some odd reason. and now that i see pictures i really want to go!
i’m going on a vacation to the south, but farm land is nothing like a beach.
oh well.

Hey, Princess! I’m truly sorry I didn’t get to see you while you were here. It was an all day event at Busch Gardens for me on Saturday. It was unexpected, but a great day of fun. I got your email that night when I got back. I’ll have to come to Durham and see you, because I visit there as well as Raleigh often. I see you couldn’t resist the water!! It’s lovely, right? Can you believe most Virginians don’t even visit the beach like that? Just sad…I love it! The pictures are nice, girl!

Looking good Miss Dom… glad to see that the beach was fun for a sista! I cosign with Kayla. Whats up with the locals not getting to the beach as they should huh? Not I (although I’m not a local, I still indulge with going to the beach every now and then)..

You look fabulous, darling. Love the orange. Don’t even get me started on the beach. Suffering in this darn landlocked desert. Hmph!
